Scientists Reveal the Hi

Scientists Reveal the Hi (also Scientists Reveal the Secret or Scientists Reveal the X) is an exploitable meme built to look like a BBC News thumbnail: a pet on a couch under a deadpan science headline. Instagram user cheemsitz posted the dog version on July 16, 2025 (100,000+ likes in a year); Reddit's r/comedyheaven repost gained 3,800 upvotes, and commenter Alicyndaquil swapped in an orange cat. Redditor matthweewhttam's May 28, 2026 edit changing "secret" to "hi" on r/xertunposting anchored the phrasal template.

October 2026 edits inverted colors, swapped seal faces, and pushed the audio on TikTok (@_bella_141, 200,000+ views; @kekust compilation, 120,000+ views). Instagram posts from pooods and Owen_Kung passed tens of thousands of likes in days. Know Your Meme listed the fad October 15, 2026 as a cat-meme series entry.

revealthehi.com can run a fake-headline generator: visitors pick an animal photo, type the "Scientists reveal the ___" punchline, and export vertical cards that mimic the BBC thumbnail without using real news branding.

revealthex.com fits a template gallery documenting the snowclone (secret → hi → bye) with credited Instagram and TikTok examples, plus safe-use notes for educators explaining exploitable macros.

scientistshi.com works as a newsletter tracking phrasal-template memes in the cat cluster—when the next "scientists reveal" variant spikes, subscribers get embed codes and aspect-ratio presets sized for Reels.
